What Are The Best Bakeries In Manchester

Manchester, the home to music, and industrial history was a bustling city and more so now.  Known nowadays for its rich multicultural hub with a range of clubs, libraries, sports teams and now, its bakeries. Manchester has some of the best bakeries available in the UK and for good reason, with our cultural city being home to many people from across the world, who have brought their expertise from generations. The difficult thing to do is sieve out the not so great ones for the creme de la creme of bakery products and biscuit selections.

Pollen Bakery

Pollen Bakery is hands down one of the best bakeries in Manchester, they are a local small independent bakery/cafe where customers can go and grab themselves a fresh sourdough bread loaf, cakes, viennoiserie baked goods and even coffee. The place really does it all and for very reasonable prices. Why not go down one Sunday and go for a coffee, you won’t be disappointed with the food or the presentation. The other great factor about Pollen Bakery is they are a fully inclusive business meaning they offer vegan and vegetarian options. Go early though as you will find a cue so get there first. Customers love the place, it’s in New Islington near Ancoats.

Alex’s Bakery

Alex’s Bakery is your one-stop-shop for all cupcakes, custom cakes, brownies, blondies and whatever is on their special list. They are also an inclusive company as they offer vegan options. There is always something new on the list when we go in so go pop in and say hello. They are excellent at making custom cakes for any occasion you want to celebrate.
